Year 1 Phonics Parent Workshop

On Thursday 15 September, we held our Year 1 Year Leader meeting, for parents to see what lies ahead for their child this year. Below are the PowerPoints shown.

Websites that you can use at home:

  • Numbots Use Numbots little and often to improve your Maths and earn points to upgrade your Numbots!
  • Discovery Education A wide selection of videos and information to help support home learning. Username: year-1 / password: hamworthy
  • Phonics Play Play 'Buried Treasure', 'Dragon's Den' or 'Picnic on Pluto' to help sort the real and nonsense words
  • Coding Throughout Year One and Two the children will be learning to use code in Computing lessons. They are able to access the lesson materials at home using the following login details: Username: year-1 / password: hamworthy
