In year 4, your child will sit the Multiplication Tables Check. This is an on-screen check consisting of 25 times tables questions where your child will have 6 seconds to answer each question. This will take please in June. Please see the handout below for key information regarding this:
To help prepare your child for the Multiplication Tables Check, we expect them to use Times Tables Rock Stars for at least 15 Minutes each week. That's just 3 Minutes a day! For more information regarding using TTRS with your child, please see the handout below:
In year 4, we continue looking at the 'Year 3 and 4 statutory spellings' and expect children to master them by the time they move to year 5.
