Book Bingo

Book Bingo is our exciting way to encourage children to develop a love of reading!

Each half term, children receive a book bingo card with a range of different text types and a range of different genres. The aim is to complete the bingo card by the end of half term. For the first line completed, children receive one raffle ticket. For two lines, children will receive two raffle tickets. When children complete a full house, they receive five raffle tickets and a prize!

At the end of each half term, a special book bingo assembly is held and one child from each class is chosen from the raffle tickets to choose a book to take home and keep!

Just before the Easter break, we recognised the children at Twin Sails who had completed a full house in their Book Bingo.
Well done to Finley, Bea, Evita, Henry, Marcelina, Poppy, Borys, Oliwier, Daniel and Jessica, who had completed their bingo card and got to choose a book to take home and keep!
