Wraparound Care and After School Clubs
Wraparound Care
At Twin Sails Infant School and Hamworthy Park Junior School, we provide the following Wraparound Care clubs:
Breakfast Club: The charge for a Breakfast Club session is £4.10. Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am - 8.30am (Entry closes at 8am to give your child enough time to eat). This includes food and drink and a variety of activities, including playing with toys, outside games or relaxation with a television programme.
After School Club The charge for a session of After School Club is £8.20. After School Club runs from after normal school hours until 5.00pm. This includes a snack, outside play time, games and activities.
Parents will be able to book sessions for the above clubs on their MCAS app. Once a booking has been made and payment received, this secures the booking. You are able to cancel the booking via the app, up until thirty minutes before the session starts.
Payments for sessions are paid in advance and staff cannot book sessions on your behalf if there are no funds in your account. Payments can be made using a Debit or Credit card.
Payments can also be made by Tax Free Childcare. We are registered as a provider for the government tax free childcare scheme. Please ensure that you allow 7 days from instructing/paying your provider until funds can be applied to your MCAS account. Once you are set up, please contact finance@hamworthyprimaryschools.co.uk when you have made the first payment.
Please note that tax free childcare vouchers can only be used for wraparound care.
After School Clubs
We are very proud of our extra-curricular clubs that we offer the children throughout the school year.
Clubs are released to parents on the MCAS app at the end of the term, ready for the new term and are priced at £10 per club. We also use an external company, CASA to offer more variety with our clubs. These are booked directly with CASA on their website.
Clubs run from after the school day until 4pm for children at Twin Sails and until 4.15pm for children at HPJS. Children must be collected from their club and cannot walk home independently after a club. Alternatively, you can book a place in our after school provision for after the club finishes.
Are clubs are extremely popular and therefore we hold waiting lists. If your child changes their mind about attending a club, please do let the School Office know, so we can offer the place to another child.
