The role of House Captain at Hamworthy Park Junior school is an important one, due to the level of responsibility it carries.

Our House Captains lead the House teams at Hamworthy Park Junior School, by setting an example of how to 'Be Brilliant' every day. They collate and count the house points weekly, reporting to the rest of the school how each team is progressing. They lead the school through events such as charity days, themed days and the Summer Fair. The House Captains also show prospective families around the school, including on Open Mornings. Our House Captains also meet regularly with Mrs Hill and Mrs Williams to ensure the voice of the pupils is heard and acted upon. 

At the start of each year, our House Captains are chosen by the Leadership Team to represent their house. 

The Year 6 pupils who wish to apply for this role must complete a letter of application, followed by an interview with the Senior Leadership Team. 

We are excited to announce the appointment of our eight House Captains for this academic year! These dedicated students have been selected to lead their respective houses and will play a vital role within the school.
