The school expects all pupils to wear school uniform and for our families to fully support us in ensuring children come to school suitably dressed. We believe the wearing of school uniform gives children a sense of belonging and encourages a real pride in being part of our school.

At Hamworthy Park Junior School, our uniform comprises of:

• Navy blue school sweatshirt with school logo
• Black trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore dress
• White shirt and school tie
• Blue summer dress (Summer Term only)
• White, black or grey socks
• Black school shoes (no extreme fashion shoes, open toed sandals, boots or sports trainers)
• Plain hair accessories should be in school colours only

PE Kit:

• Trainers
• Black shorts
• Navy PE T-shirt with school logo
• Navy or black plain jagging bottoms and sweatshirt for outdoor games

For safety reasons, no jewellery should be worn in school, with the exception of small plain studs for children with pierced ears (one in each ear only) and hooped earrings are not permitted. Earrings must be removed for all PE sessions so we request that children's ears are not pierced during the academic year.
