Science Intent:

As scientists, our children learn to be curious about the world around them. They are taught and encouraged to pose questions and think about how they can investigate it to find an answer. 

The children will enjoy a range of theoretical and practical learning across all the areas of science they cover. Science is one of the most exciting and practical subjects and, as a result, is a real joy to teach. Children love the chance to learn through being totally hands-on and finding things out for themselves. 

Autumn 2023

Children in Year 5 are studying 'The Earth and Beyond.' As part of this exciting science topic, we arranged for the Science Dome to visit the school. The Science Dome is a digital planetarium used to explore astronomy through an inspirational and interactive 360-degree show. The planetarium enriches the children's learning and provided an unforgettable consolidation of our Science work.
