Your child is due to transfer to Year 7 in September 2025. Please find a list of the Open Evenings for the local secondary schools below. Applications for transfer open on Sunday 1st September and close on Thursday 31st October.

By the end of Year 6, children will need to have learnt and be able to spell a list of statutory spellings that follow spellings rules taught throughout KS2. As well as these, we also recap on the Year 3 and 4 statutory spellings to ensure these are secure before moving on.

Times Table Rockstars

Please regularly practise your times tables. Children in Year 6 need to know times tables up to 12 x 12 and the related division facts.

All children have been given a Times Table Rockstars log in, please contact your class teacher if you do not have this.
