Attendance Matters. Every Child...Every Day

Attendance is a national priority. All children deserve the right to attend school regularly to ensure they are able to access the full education that we offer, which enables them to achieve their full potential.

As a school, we are highly committed to working together with families to provide challenge and support. We monitor attendance every 3 weeks, and it is our duty to highlight to parents the relationship between attendance and achievement - we do this with phone calls, a letter or to invite you to a meeting.  

Therefore, please:

• Bring your child to school one time every day. Being late can mean that your child misses out on key information at the start of the day
• If your child is too unwell to attend, please call the School Office every day of absence
• Holidays in term time cannot be authorised - however, please complete an absence request form so we know where your child is and that they are safe. 
• Please let your class teacher know of anything that might be impacting on your child not wanting to come to school, so that we can work together to support them and you. 

If your child is being collected by someone new, please email the School Office and this will be passed to the Class Teacher. 

Positive Behaviour - Growing Independence & Citizenship

Children are supported to develop as responsible and active citizens within the school community. There expectations are reflected in our 'ASPIRE' - the characteristics with all of our children should aspre to throughout school life. Children are rewarded for demonstrating these behaviours and characteristics.
