Welcome!

First of all we would like to warmly welcome you and your child to our school.

We understand that starting a new school can be a very exciting time but perhaps also a nervous time for you and your child. We would therefore like to support you by making this transition as smooth as possible.

For those children moving to us from a different school, we will have a lot of information to share with you over the coming weeks, and we will communicate with you mainly via email. We pride ourselves on our enhanced transition process for your child. Our Year 3 Leader will visit your child's current school in the Summer Term to learn all about them and to ensure their transition to us is as seamless as possible. You and your child will also be invited to various meetings throughout the Summer Term.  

Although our schools are Federated and operate in partnership, the admission processes for each school are separate. Both schools work together to ensure the transition process for the pupils from the Infant School to the Junior School is as smooth as possible, so that the children feel happy and supported to start at the Junior school. 

As the buildings are joined together, the schools share resources and facilities across their time at the schools, which ensures the pupils experience the consistency of a primary school approach, but ensure the curriculum and approach to school life is age appropriate. Staff work across both schools seamlessly to ensure continuous and effective partnerships with children and families.
